As a patient at SFAS PT, you will receive a comprehensive evaluation to assist you in returning to pain free activity. Treatment places an emphasis on therapeutic exercise, which can allow you to take control of your rehab. Modalities such as massage tools, cupping, e-stim and floss bands can also be utilized. Thanks to our cash based model, we can treat the client as a whole, and are not held to strict rules of treating one isolated body part, as compared to most traditional clinics. Time and expenses can also be saved under this model, as it frequently requires less visits than traditional insurance-based PT. In traditional clinics, physical therapists often see 15 or more people per day, which means they simply cannot provide the same quality of care as SFAS PT, given our ability to have 30-60 minute, individual sessions with each person.
Reimbursement is possible, dependent on individual insurance policies. Health savings account cards, credit card, cash, or check are accepted.
The motivated and time crunched patient will excel in this model. The sessions will emphasize patient education regarding self mobilizations and therapeutic exercises, with an expectation for continuation at home.
Patients pay for treatment at the time of service using Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), credit card, cash or check.
No, we do not accept insurance at this time. However, we can provide you with an invoice that can be submitted to your insurance for partial reimbursement.
It is preferred you have one, however have your PCP’s email/fax available and I can send them your evaluation to get the script. Also, you can sometimes obtain a script by calling your PCP ahead of time.
Many patients’ co-pays are anywhere from $30-50 per visit, and traditional in-network clinics might see those patients three times per week. But if you see a patient once per week the patient isn’t really paying more and is saving trips to the clinic.
Each patient’s needs are different. Some patients come in weekly for 4-6 sessions, while others return on an as needed basis for a checkup or revision of plan.
Please bring shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes to your session if possible.
